Grammar/ Spelling	Poor Draft is clearly unedited. A great deal of spelling and grammar mistakes are made.	Fair Draft would have benefited from another editing session. Some grammar and spelling mistakes are made.	Good Draft is clearly edited. All Grammar and Spelling is used correctly, little or no mistakes are made.
Thesis Statement	Poor Thesis is missing or not a true thesis. Thesis does not relate to the paper or express the main idea of the paper.	Fair Thesis is present and near of in the proper place. Thesis expresses the main topic, however it is not as strong as it could be. There does not fully express the main topic.	Good Thesis is clear and found at the beginning of the opening or first paragraph. Thesis presents a clear topic for the rest of the paper.
Paragraphs	Poor Paragraphs do not follow a logical order. Paragraphs are out of order. Both cultures are not compared within paragraphs. Ideas are not logically categorized in paragraphs.	Fair Some paragraphs flow to the next paragraph. Most paragraphs follow a logical order.	Good Each paragraph flows to the next paragraph. Paragraphs follow a logical order.
