Discover San Atonio Daily Grade Discover San Atonio Daily Grade (100 POINTS - 25 points each section) Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your daily grade will be determined. All students are expected to participate in class! I do understand that some students are shy and participate in ways other than class discussion. 	Excellent 25 pts	Good 21 pts	Fair 19 pts	Poor or no points 14 pts
ATTENDANCE 25 pts	Excellent EXCELLENT Student is always on time and regularly attends classes.	Good GOOD Student is absent one or two times.	Fair FAIR Student is late three times and may be late sometimes.	Poor POOR Student has four or more absences in the semester. Zero points for 5+ absences.
PUNCTUALITY 25 pts	Excellent EXCELLENT Student is on time and sitting ready to start class when the bell rings.	Good GOOD Student is on time but not ready to start class when the bell rings.	Fair FAIR Student is on time and disruptive to other students ready to start class.	Poor POOR Student is late and disrupts class by entering late.
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR 25 pts	Excellent EXCELLENT Student often asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions.	Good GOOD Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions.	Fair FAIR Student rarely participates in class, struggles with pair/group discussions.	Poor POOR Student never participates in class, does not participate in pair/group discussions.
PREPARATION 25 pts	Excellent EXCELLENT Student is always prepared for class with assignments and required materials punctually.	Good GOOD Student is usually prepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.	Fair FAIR Student is frequently unprepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.	Poor POOR Student is almost always unprepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.
