Knowledge and Understanding	Poor - Rarely uses the appropriate voice to fit target audience -Only a few simple ideas are connected to the topic -Few supporting details	Fair -Sometimes uses the appropriate voice to fit target audience -Simple ideas are sometimes connected to the topic -Some supportive details but not enough to clarify the events being recounted	Good -Usually uses the appropriate voice to fit target audience -Ideas are connected to the topic -Sufficient supporting details that clarify the events being recounted	Excellent -Always uses the appropriate voice to fit target audience -Well-developed indeas connected to the topic -Many supporting details that enhance the events being recounted
