Poster	Excellent The poster is creative and neat, containing the characters name and 4 or more pictures and facts.	Good The poster is neat and creative containing the characters name as well as some pictures and facts.	Fair The poster is messy and not very creative and missing either the characters name, picture or facts.	Below Basic I did not complete a poster, or it is very messy and only containing one element.
Content	Excellent The report is factual and well researched. It is focused on the persons life and how they were influential in history.	Good The report is well researched. Some facts or examples needed more detail.	Fair The report may not be clearly focused on the persons life and how they were influential in history.	Below Basic The report does not have a clear focus and show little research with no mention of their influence on history.
Presentation	Excellent Student was dressed in appropriate costume for their character and used appropriate props. Student had script memorized and maintained eye contact during presentation.	Good Student was dressed appropriately in costume. Student used script very little and used some eye contact during the presentation.	Fair Student was dressed with minimal attention to character detail. Student read from the script and used minimal eye contact during the presentation.	Below Basic Student did not have costume appropriate to character. Student read from script with difficulty and had no eye contact with the audience.
Grammar - oral and writing	Excellent Student speaks clearly, with proper voice volume. Posterboard has no misspelled words	Good Student speaks clearly at times, with some proper voice volume. Posterboard has no misspelled words poster board has a 1-2 misspelled items.	Fair Student doesn't speak clearly, and uses minimum voice volume. Posterboard, has 3 or more errors in misspelled items.	Below Basic Student is difficult to understand. Student speaks clearly, with proper voice volume. Posterboard had 4 or more misspelled items.
