Content Knowledge	Poor Student did not fully understand the concept and reason behind each oceanic zone. Did not discuss information about the subject.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with the information discussed in the project. Can only answer a minimal amount of information about each oceanic zone.	Good Student has gathered information and understands the concept of each oceanic zone but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Student demonstrates and grasps full knowledge of each oceanic zone, Elaborates and explains information very strong.
Presentation	Poor Students were not enaged, diagram of ocean not in proper format via PowerPoint, 3D model, Clay Project, or was not discussed prior to final presentation.	Fair Student had correct diagram format but failed to engage to the audience when explaining, tends to go off topic.	Good Student had correct diagram format and explained information throughly but lacked when answering questions about the project from fellow classmates.	Excellent Student fully was engaged with audience in presentation, fully explained information within the correct format and answered all questions from fellow classmates.
Spelling	Poor Continuous spelling errors, readability is very poor. 10 or more errors.	Fair Misspelling of common words, distracting the reader. 6-8 errors.	Good Common words are spelled mostly correct, very readable. 3-6 errors.	Excellent Correct spelling, from common words to difficult words. No errors to 1-2.
Requirements	Poor Off topic and all requirements were not met, 1 living organism in each oceanic zone.	Fair Not all requirements are met, 2-4 living organisms in eaxh oceanic zone.	Good All requirements are met, 5-9 living organisms in each oceanic zone.	Excellent All requirements are met and exceed expectations, 10 plus living organisms in each oceanic zone.
