	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Note Recognition 40 %	Poor There is a clear lack of note knowledge	Fair There are multiple notes incorrect.	Good There are a couple of wrong notes	Excellent Notes are all accurate.
Rhythm 40 %	Poor There is not a strong sense of rhythm.	Fair There are several wrong rhythms, but a clear pulse	Good There are only a couple of wrong rhythms.	Excellent Rhythm is performed accurately.
Intonation/pitch 20 %	Poor There is little to no sense of pitch or tone	Fair The direction of the note is correct, but the pitch is wrong, or the tone is suffering and needing more support	Good There is a little variation in the pitch, but the accuracy is there, tone may have a few deficiencies	Excellent The exercise is played in tune and in tone
