The drawing is not perfectly accurate. The drawing features some accurate detail.	Good The drawing is in colour and accurately represents the real fossil. Details are shown and a title properly identifies the fossil.
Creature Description	Poor The type of organism is not indicated. The size, diet and appearance of the organism is not expressed or is written very poorly.	Fair The organism is identified and its size, diet and appearance are expressed. Some sentence errors may exist.	Good The type of organism is indicated. Organisms size and diet are expressed in clear sentences. The organisms physical appearance is well described in detail and full sentences.
Creature History	Poor There is no "where/when" about the organism. Or "where/when" is inaccurate and poorly written. No prediction is made about the organisms death.	Fair "where/when" about the organism is accurate. Some sentence errors may exist. There is a prediction for how the organism may have died.	Good "Where/when" about the organism is accurate, well explained and in full sentences. How the creature may have died is explained in a full descriptive sentence.
Fossil/Organism Model	Poor No model was made. The poorly represents the organism or it's fossil.The model features no detail or effort.	Fair The model represents the fossil or organism. It is creative and features sufficient detail.	Good The model is accurate, creative and detailed. It properly represents the creature or fossil.
Time Use	Poor Did not use class time effectively.	Fair Did use some class time to work on the project but strayed off task on occasion.	Good Used class time very well to create the project.
