Retells the story correctly.	Poor Is not able to retell the story using the pictures.	Fair Correctly retells one fact of the story using one picture.	Good Correctly retells 2 facts of the story using 2 pictures.	Excellent Correctly retells 3 or more facts using 3 or more pictures.
Sentence structure.	Poor Does not use proper capitalization and punctuation. Sentence is grammatically incorrect.	Fair Uses correct punctuation and capitalization with few grammar mistakes.	Good Uses correct grammar with few mistakes in punctuation and capitalization.	Excellent Uses correct grammar without any mistakes.
Coloring/cutting	Poor Does not take time to color neatly. Work is messy. Cutting is very jagged and uneven.	Fair Coloring is somewhat neat but not within the lines. Cutting is jagged.	Good Coloring is neat and within the lines. Cutting is somewhat sloppy.	Excellent Coloring is neat and within the lines. Cutting is smooth and on the lines.
