Book Review Rubric: Informational Text 
The students will create a book to represent their student-chosen book. They will create a book jacket which is a one pager that includes, the title, author and illustration on front with a summary and review on back. Inside the jacket, Page 1:Analysis of Text Features and Text Structure. Page 2: a short review including a character analysis of a main characters, setting and elements of the genre, and the lesson they learned through reading the book and why that lesson matters in their life. Students will present book reports to class and a typed or black-ink written copy must be given to teacher to follow during presentation.
