Student creates a well thought out story that is interesting. The story has multiple (4-5)examples of figurative language including, but not limited to: personification, imagery, simile and metaphor.

Students have 1 illustration that goes with the story. That illustration does not go well with the story. The quality of the drawing is low. Or the student found illustrations from the internet and added them in.

Students have a couple (1-2) of illustrations that sort of go with the creation story and the meaning behind the story. These are hand drawn, but lack quality.

Students have illustrations (2-3) with the story that enhance the quality and meaning of the story. These are hand drawn (high quality) with either color or shading.

Students created a plot pyramid that directly reflects the story. The plot pyramid is well developed and thought out.
