Volume and fluency	Excellent Clear and fluent presentation. Presentation was 2-3 minutes.	Good Able to be heard but pacing was uneven. Presentation was 2 minutes.	Fair Was difficult to hear at all times; uneven pacing. Presentation was 1-2 minutes.	Poor Could not be heard by audience; spoke too quickly or stumbled often. Presentation as less than 1 minute.
Knowledge of Biography	Excellent Knew speech without notecards/memorized.	Good Knew speech, but needed notecards some of the time.	Fair Did not know the speech very well. Used note cards a lot.	Poor Did not know speech at all. Read directly off cards.
Costume	Excellent Wore a costume and had props that represented the president person well.	Good Wore a costume that represented the famous person.	Fair Wore a costume, but didn't go with biography.	Poor Wore only part of a costume. Only partially went with biography.
Content	Excellent Spoke on topic the whole time. Discussed at least 5 research questions, in detail, and provided a copy of their written speech. Bibliography completed.	Good Spoke on topic most of the time. Discussed most of their research questions, and provided part of a copy of their written speech. Bibliography partially completed.	Fair Some of the presentation was off topic. Only discussed a couple of their research questions, and no written copy was provided. Bibliography very incomplete.	Poor Did not have a factual speech. Not prepared to participate. No bibliography written.
Creativity	Excellent Very Creative, used effective costume and props, authentic to person and time period.	Good Somewhat creative, tried to be authentic to person or time period.	Fair Very little creativity went into the presentaion. Not very authentic representation of person.	Poor Not creative. Not authentic.
