The student is able to retell the story with expression, fluency and audience interaction. Used gestures, facial expressions and vocal control to retell story.
Descriptiveness/Setting

Emerging

The student provides minimal detail when retelling the story, leaving out many significant events.
Developing

The student provides a lot of detail when retelling the story, leaving out no significant events and does not develop setting with descriptiveness.
Established

The student provides a significant amount of detail when retelling the story and leaves out no events. Allowing the listener to develop a mental picture of setting.
