Revising	More Effort Needed Student spent little to no time revising. Very little changes were made. No use of classroom resources (wordwall, thesaurus, dictionary) to support revisions. Publishing	More Effort Needed Final copy not completed, AND/OR more than one part of the writing process (prewriting, draft, revisions, editing). Writing is dirty, messy and incoherent. Approching Grade Level The writing has 1 or 2 ideas that make it difficult to read but most of the paper is clear.	Meeting Grade Level The writing has 1 part that doesn't make sense but the overall writing is clear.	Exceeding Grade Level There is only on idea is clear. Ideas are presented in a format that is easy to read.
word choice	More Effort Needed Uses simple sight words and basic words.	Approching Grade Level Uses simple sight words and some inventive spelling words that are higher level.	Meeting Grade Level Uses a variati of sight words and multisyllabic words.	Exceeding Grade Level used a variaty of sight wrords and sparkle words to make reading intresting.
