Touch/Contact	Excellent Student demonstrated one/two hand contact throughout the applications of massage techniques. The pressure was consistent and transitioned appropriately when needed in application of massage technique. /3	Good Hand contact during applications of massage techniques was interrupted (+1), pressure was applied inconsistently on an occurrence of 2 or more times during the session. /2	Needs Improvement Student consistently disconnected from client during the applications of massage techniques. Needs improvement and practice when applying the appropriate amount of pressure. /1
Use of Lubricants	Excellent Complete applications of massage technique was performed with appropriate application of lubricant when needed. /3	Good Students application of lubricant was either excessive or not applied enough on a portion of the body (upper/lower torso). /2	Needs Improvement The application of lubrication was not consistent throughout the session. Lubricant application was either excessive or depleted. /1
Performance of Massage Techniques	Excellent Student correctly applied all applications of massage techniques. Rhythm/Sequence	Excellent The applications of massage techniques had a continuous flow. Student transitioned massage applications with appropriate follow through. Student demonstrated smooth movement of massage techniques. /3	Good The student displayed some hesitation transitioning into the applications of massage techniques or body part 2+. Massage techniques were not followed through correctly 1+. /2	Needs Improvement The applications of massage technique was interrupted continuously. The student displayed on numerous occasions hesitation/disruption of massage technique applications. /1
Proper use of body mechanics	Excellent Student demonstrates proper body mechanics using horse/archer stance and avoids upper body strain. /3	Good Student is not consistent with their body mechanics, but corrected themselves as they saw the need to make improvements through the competency. /2	Needs Improvement Student repeatedly used poor body mechanics. /1
Time management.
