Students will draw an original piece using at least 3 different shapes.

Drawing with shapes.
	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 15 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Use of Geometric shapes.	Poor Student does not use Geometric shapes in the drawing and is not using drafting equipment. Object are free form and not geometric.	Fair Student makes some use of Geometric shapes but mostly draws uneven shapes. Using too large, general geometric shapes. Not much detail	Good Student uses Geometric shapes to make the drawing. Uses drafting equipment for all lines. Good use of color.	Excellent Student drawing is neat and shapes can be defined. Good color transition that defines objects.
Effort	Poor Student does not show effort in the drawing, quickly draws it, and it is messy. Student is not focused on the drawing (ex. spends class time talking to friends and not observing the painting	Fair Student shows some effort in the drawing but it is rushed. Student is focused but does not represent forms.	Good Student shows effort in drawing. It is not rushed. It is neat. Student is focused on the drawing and makes the drawing from observation.	Excellent Student worked continuously on project and stayed focus the entire time.
