Rhythm/Tempo	Proficient Performance is rhythmically accurate. Rhythms are played as written with appropriate steady tempo.	Approaching Proficiency Performance is rhythmically accurate most of the time. Most rhythms are played as written. Tempo is mostly steady with a few minor errors.	Developing Performance is sometimes rhythmically accurate. Errors are frequent, and some rhythms are played as written. Tempo is inappropriate (too fast/slow) and sometimes uneven.	Basic Performance is rarely rhythmically accurate. Rhythms are seldom played as written and errors are extremely frequent. Tempo is both inappropriate and erratic.
