Basketball- students will dribble the ball with both hands, students will shoot the basketball, students will show competency during a game situation.

Dribbling	Poor - Does not dribble with finger tips - Does not dribble at waist level	Fair - Dribbles with finger tips - Dribbles at waist level	Good - Dribbles with finger tips - Dribbles at waist level - Dribbles with ball close to body and away from defender	Excellent - Dribbles with finger tips - Dribbles at waist level- -Dribbles with ball close to body and away from defender - Dribbles with Head up and eyes down court -Student will weave a set of cones in 15 seconds or less. Shooting	Poor -Does not have dominant hand or elbow under ball -Does not follow through	Fair -Dominant hand and elbow directly under ball -Has great follow through	Good -Dominant hand and elbow directly under ball -Has great follow through -Squares up to basket with knees bent	Excellent - Dominant hand and elbow directly under ball -Has great follow through -Squares up to basket with knees bent -Shoots at top of jump. -Students needs to make 4/5 lay-ups, and 4/5 of 10 ft. jump shots.
