SEM Chapter 9 Extra Innings Project 
Ref: CH. 9.(pg. 251). You are a Marketing specialist, choose a specific country to research and report concerning the standards for movies in that country. Follow the directions (Q-1-5 on pg. 251). also refer to your hand-out. You must create a presentation and be sure to cite references. You will need enough slides to cover all of the information. Be sure to include an introduction slide, closing, and reference slide.

Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. Slides do not cover pertinent information and the three main slides are missing as listed above. A letter is not present. Elements of the project are lacking.
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. Slides minimally cover pertinent information and one of the three main slides are missing as listed above. A letter is present but written very poorly. Elements of the project are some what lacking.
Good

Presentation of information is logical, and in a sequence in which the audience can follow. Slides cover the pertinent information in an acceptable way. Project is adequate but not exceptional
Excellent

Presentation of information is logical, interesting and sequence can be easily followed by audience. All of the pertinent information is present and are done extremely well. Letter is written written exceptionally well.
Subject Knowledge

Information is explained in depth through the presentation and the presenter does not read from the slides.

Poor

Presenter does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.
Fair

Presenter is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.
Good

Presenter is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Presenter demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration in an exceptional manner.
Graphics
20 pts

Backgroud should not detract from presentation, and citation ( at the end of the presentation) should state references. Information in letter should be detailed

Poor

Presenter uses superfluous graphics or no graphics. Not enough details in letter..
Fair

Presenter occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text. Some details are present.
Good

Presenter's graphics relate to text and are good. Details are present and good.
Excellent

Presenter's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Details are in depth, and are exceptional.
Mechanics
20 pts

Letter should be typed, double spaced and 12 point font either courier or new times roman and in business format.

Poor

Presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors, to inlude the letter and or the letter is not in the proper format.
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors, to include the letter. The letter is somewhat in the correct format.
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors, to include the letter. Letter is in the correct format but is not written exceptionally.
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors, to include the letter. Letter is written in the correct format and is done exceptionally well.
Eye Contact and Elocution
20 pts

Poor

Presenter reads all of report with no eye contact, mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Presenter occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report. Presenter's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation
Good

Presenter maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes. Presenter's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Presenter maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes. Presenter uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
