Diorama: 3D Book Report

Using a shoe box or other container, make a model of a scene from the book. The project should be complete to give a thorough understanding of what is happening, the setting, and the character. Labels must be included, using complete sentences and in paragraph form. Dolls, toys, or other props may be used but should not be the main focus of the project; use your imagination and creativity.

The viewer can somewhat understand the characters and the setting of the book.	Fair Can not easily distinguish what the scene depicts OR characters and/or setting is not easily recognizable.	Poor Does not depict a scene from the book OR does not include any characters.
Elements Should include title of book, author's name, and student's name.	Excellent Includes all elements, written clearly and neatly in an interesting way or print.	Good Includes all elements.	Fair Is missing one element.	Poor Is missing more than one element.
