	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Vocabulary	Poor Student did not use any vocabulary in short paragraph. No words that were talked about in class were used.	Fair Student tried to incorporate specific vocabulary words in paragraph, but it did not make sense.	Good Student was able to successfully write a short paragraph while including specific vocabulary from the lesson.
Writing: Legibility	Poor Students work is non legible.	Fair Student's work can be read in certain areas.	Good Students work is clear and able to read throughout.
Concept	Poor Student did not understand the concept with the in class experiment.	Fair Student slightly understands what the experiment has to do with the topics discussed in class.	Good Student fully understands and is able to compare the in class experiment with the lesson and can see how they compare to each other.
