Demonstration Speech
	Excellent Exceeds the expectations 4 pts	Good Students had clear process. Easily defined steps and VA used appropriately. 3 pts	Fair Students had the process but lacked VA. 2 pts	Poor Student presentation did not follow the assignment. 1 pts
Content & Organization	Excellent Intro: Sets up Process ending with thesis. Speech clarifies the main points which comes from the thesis. Clear separation of stages with transitions. Balanced information.	Good Speech had just introduction but not a conclusion. Language needed to be of bit higher level. Information not equally balanced in body.	Fair Body is simply the essence of the story. Speech direct and easy to understand.	Poor No audience interaction or involvement. Speech lacked overall organization.
Body Language	Excellent Comfortable delivery. Lively facial interaction. No verbal pauses. Enthusiastic voice, nice volume and great variation of pitch.	Good Fluent manner of delivery. Seemed slightly nervous. Little movement. Fair eye contact. Needed one more practice.	Fair Reasonable eye contact. Remained behind the podium. Little or no movement. Needed to practice a few more times.	Poor Read from a script or memorized. No audience interaction. Clearly unprepared.
Pronunciation	Excellent Impeccable from start to finish. There were no errors.	Good Speech had 3 to 5 errors of pronunciation.	Fair Followed the proper rules 5-7 errors. Speech delivered in in a matter of fact here is what you need to know.	Poor Speech was very difficulty to follow. Sounds were confusing and difficult to make out the intended message.
Grammar	Excellent Speech had no errors in grammar.	Good Speech had 3-5 errors. It made the speech a little difficult to follow.	Fair Speech had 5-7 errors in the verb tense and use of conjugations.	Poor Speech had so many errors in the grammar it was difficult to follow.
Visual Aids	Excellent Visual Aids were proper size and used appropriately.	Good Pictures were shown at the right time. Visual Aid uses full sentences versus key words.	Fair Multiple pictures were shown at the same time and hard to distinguish the importance. VA was passed around the class.	Poor VA was not used. VA was passed around the class.
