A Good Paper/presntation isn't just a statement of facts, but should be a passionate recounting of the events. Imagine yourself a politician or attorney. Give your words some "heat".

Some passion, but uneven. Recounting of the facts, line up but without enough colorful adjectives to make strong feeling.

A passionate recounting of facts. Events lined up like ready a good story. Reading the paper, one can almost imagine being there. Like reading a good novel, but with history. Great adjectives and colorful description.
Oral Presentation

This is the mechanics of making a presentation. Looking out into your audience. Rehearse your paper so that it comes forth naturally.

Poor

ill prepared no notes, does not make eye contact or very little. Mispronounces key figure names. Wrong dates for events. Hard to hear, low volume.
Fair

Some missed eye contact. Low to medium voice.
Good

Good eye contact. Level talking, medium voice, a little uneven in volume.
Excellent

Makes good eye contact. Presentation is robust, meaning good level talking strong and easily heard. Medium to High Volume.
