Paper Content	Poor Paper is simply an outline of the life of the astronomer with little or nothing to do with their astronomical findings.	Fair Paper is split between a biography of astronomer and their achievements. Biography extends past a simple one or two paragraph introduction.	Good Majority of paper is related to the astronomical findings and achievements of astronomer, yet these are not explained.	Excellent Majority of paper is related to the astronomical findings and achievements of astronomer. Author of paper goes above and beyond to explain the findings and achievements.
Paper Spelling / Grammar	Poor Numerous spelling and grammatical errors.	Fair Less than five major spelling mistakes but poor flow and organization of paper.	Good Less than five major spelling or grammatical errors. Excellent organization and structure of paper.	Excellent No obvious punctuation or spelling mistakes. Excellent sentence and paragraph structure throughout paper.

Nuts and Bolts	Poor Paper is shorter than required, or alterations have been made to paper structure or spacing to simply meet the requirement.	Fair Paper is hand written but appears to be of required length.	Good Paper is correct length but is not double spaced.	Excellent Paper is correct length, typed, double spaced, 12 point font, one inch margins.
