Second Grade Lab Report Scientific Writing

Use the "Scientific Writing Checklist for Lab Reports" to create your lab report. Each of the eight sections in the checklist will be evaluated to compile an overall 100% classwork/project grade. Use this rubric to help you critique your lab report so that you may get the highest score possible.

Materials	Above Standard List is complete for accurate replication of the experiment. List includes complete number of items used. Conclusion	Above Standard The sentences are well written and show critical thinking with use of content specific vocabulary. Far Below Standard The conclusion is missing.
Writing Guidelines	Above Standard Well written, neatly organized & clearly formatted. Scientific vocabulary present & used correctly. No spelling or grammatical errors.
