Artistic Expression	Excellent-Exceeds Standard Holds attention of entire audience with their use of artistic expression and seldom look at their notes. They are not just reading to the audience.	Good-Meets Standard Consistent use of artistic expression to engage the audience, but rely somewhat on their notes. Attempting to not just read to the audience.	Fair-Approaching Standard Displayed minimal artistic expression in engaging with the audience, while reading mostly from the notes to the audience.	Poor-Below Standard No artistic expression or attempt to engage with audience, as entire showcase is read from notes.
Subject Knowledge	Excellent-Exceeds Standard The group does an excellent job in telling the story of their chosen group. Research shows through and the message is very clear.	Good-Meets Standard The group does a good job in telling the story of their chosen group. The message is clear and knowledge is shown of the topic.	Fair-Approaching Standard The group does an average job in telling the story of their group but the message is unclear due to lack of research.	Poor-Below Standard The group does a poor job in telling the story and the audience is left wondering what the message was.
Organization	Excellent-Exceeds Standard The group presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.	Good-Meets Standard The group presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Fair-Approaching Standard Audience has difficulty following presentation because the group jumps around and the message is not organized.	Poor-Below Standard Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Voice	Excellent-Exceeds Standard The group clearly gives voice to their modern day outsiders and went above and beyond to make their performance tell their story.	Good-Meets Standard The group gives voice to their modern day outsiders and their message was clear.	Fair-Approaching Standard The group could have done more to give voice to their modern day outsiders.	Poor-Below Standard The group did not have a voice to tell the story of their modern day outsiders.
