Frequent or repeated duration errors. Rhythm problems occasionally detract from the overall performance.	Great The beat is secure and the rhythms are mostly accurate. There are a few duration errors, but these do not detract from the overall performance.	Excellent The beat is secure and the rhythms are accurate for the music being sung.
Diction	Poor Student never use's articulation the words and the text is lacking.	Needs Improvement Student rarely articulates the words and the text is not discernible.	Good Student is sometimes articulating the words but the text is often not discernible.	Great Student articulates the words somewhat clearly and the text can be understood most of the time.	Excellent Student articulates clearly and the text is understandable.

Needs Improvement The tone is often not clear or focused regardless of the range, significantly detracting from the overall performance; however, he/she is showing an effort. The tone lacks practice.
