	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Pages / Pictures	Poor The StoryBird book contains less than 5 pages with some pictures in the book.	Fair The StoryBird book contains at least 5-7 pages with a picture on each page.	Good The StoryBird book contains at least 8 pages with a picture on each page.
Content Cohesion to Art	Poor Some pages contains 1-2 sentences about the picture.	Fair Each page contains 1-2 sentences about the picture. All of the sentences make sense with the picture, but pages do not always relate to the overall storyline.	Good Each page contains 1-2 sentences about the picture. All of the sentences in the book make sense and relate to the story.
Character	Poor The story does not contain a character.	Fair The story contains one or more characters.	Good The story contains one or more characters that are involved in the conflict/problem and solution.
Conflict/Problem and Solution	Poor There is no conflict/problem or solution present in the story at all.	Fair There is a conflict/problem present in the story, but no solution.	Good The conflict/problem and solution are present in the story. Both directly relate to each other.
Sequence of Events	Poor The story follows no sequence of events. Events are random and do not fit together.	Fair The story follows some sequence of events, but does not unfold naturally or in order.	Good The story follows a sequence of events and unfolds naturally in order.
