Culinary Student Interview

Students will formulate 10 to 15 interview questions specific to an assigned Culinary Essentials Chapter. The student will sit down with and interview two fellow students on the chapter topic. After the interview, the student will write 2-3 sentences about each response to the questions.

Formulating Questions	Poor Student had less than 5 questions and the questions were not well thought out.	Good Student 10 questions and they were thoughtful in nature.	Excellent Student had 15 questions and each one was thoughtful in nature.
Interviewing	Poor The student did not interview two fellow classmates.	Good The student did not ask at least 10 of the fifteen questions.	Excellent The student interviewed 2 fellow classmates and asked all of their 15 prepared questions.
Writing	Poor The student did not write 2-3 sentences for each of the two fellow classmate's responses.	Good The student wrote 2-3 grammatically correct sentences about fell each of his/her fellow student 's responses and use proper grammar.	Excellent The student wrote 2-3 grammatically correct sentences about fellow students responses to each question.
Interview Criteria Card	Poor Meets only one of the criteria on the card.	Good Meets 2 to 3 of the criteria on the card	Excellent Meets all of the criteria on the card with unusual detail and design.
