Storybook Rubric - peer evaluation

Students will learn to complete their own Photo Story presentation of a children's story book, using the Photo Story program, and then present their presentations to the class.

Sound Quality	1 Quality of sound/voice is very difficult to hear and understand.	2 Decent quality in the sound. Some background noise that does make it hard to focus in on the storytelling.	3 Good quality in the sound. Maybe some background noise but it does not distract from the story.	4 Superior quality in the sound.
Voice Expression	1 There was little or no expression used in the storytelling. The narrator simple read the words from the story. No dramatic flair was given	2 The narration showed small areas of expression in the storytelling. One or two spots of dramatic flair was evident.	3 The narration showed areas of expression in the storytelling. Quite a few different spots of dramatic flair was evident.	4 Superior storytelling expression was used. Story flowed very smoothly. The narrator used dramatic flair where needed to draw the listener in.
Technical Elements	1 Chosen pictures did not go with the presentation's story and/or were poor quality pictures	2 Chosen pictures were adequate for the story but some were questionable or hard to see	3 Chosen pictures were appropriate for the presentation's story and clear pictures were used	4 Chosen pictures were exceptional, well thought out choices and quality was clear
