Critical components of the GSE include: Use of 2 pt. identifiers, verifying the order for the skill performed, maintaining appropriate technique when completing the skill, performing the appropriate assessment before/after skill implementation, appropriate documentation before/after skill performance, AND awareness and assessments of unexpected outcomes related to skill implementation.
