Show Choir Final Exam

For use with the final exam performance. Points will be given, then added together. The grade will then be converted into the conventional grading scale for CHS.

	Superior - A 95% 5 pts	Excellent - B 85% - 94% 4 pts	Good - C 75% - 84% 3 pts	Fair - D 74% - 65% 2 pts	Poor - F Less than 65% 0 pts
Vocal Performance Score:	Superior - A A desirable tone quality that is appropriate to the music being performed is produced throughout the performance.	Excellent - B Pitches are in tune and centered. A desirable tone quality is produced for most of the piece.	Good - C Some notes are out of tune. Tone quality is average.	Fair - D Some notes are out of tune. Tone quality is kind of harsh.	Poor - F Many notes are of tune. Tone quality is poor.
Stage Presence Score:	Superior - A Student performs with correct posture and is professional in their conduct. Interests the audience with facial expressions and spirit.	Excellent - B Student has minor issues with posture. Student needs a slight improvement in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)	Good - C Student has issues with posture or lacks facial emotions. Student needs need to improve in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)	Fair - D Student needs large improvement in posture. Student shows major lapses in judgment in professionalism. Doesn't seem to care	Poor - F Posture and attitude is unacceptable. Looks away constantly etc.
Choreography Score:	Superior - A Student performs with little or no mistakes.	Excellent - B Student performs with minor mistakes.	Good - C Students makes mistakes, He/She shows effort however, lacks preparation.	Fair - D Student makes quite a few mistakes.	Poor - F Performance is unacceptable and/or student makes no effort to attempt choreography.
Attendance Score:	Superior - A Attended every rehearsal.	Excellent - B Missed 1 day.	Good - C Missed 2 days.	Fair - D Missed 3 days.	Poor - F Missed all rehearsals.
