Vocal Changes 4 pts	Excellent The vocal changes made while presenting the poem make sense and are relevant to the text. 3 or more changes were made.	Good The vocal changes made while presenting the poem usually make sense and were often relevant to the text. At least 2 changes were made.	Fair Vocal changes were made while presenting the poem but do not really relate to the text. Only one distinct change to the voice was made.	Needs Improvement No changes to the voice were made. The student just read the poem and did not attempt to act it out.
Projection 4 pts	Excellent The actor delivered strong projection. It was very easy to hear their voice.	Good The actor's projection was mostly strong. There were 1-3 instances where it was difficult to hear their voice.	Fair The actor's projection was somewhat strong. There were more than 3 instances where it was difficult to hear their voice.	Needs Improvement The actor delivered weak projection. It was difficult to hear the actor's voice throughout the performance.
