Organization	Poor The student is missing large parts of the essay assigned according to the prompt.	Fair The student has paragraphs, but the paragraphs are organized or missing in a way that make it harder to understand or less effective.	Good The student has organized the essay according to the prompt -A thoughtful title -Introduction paragraph that introduces the subject and topics without giving away the position -Body paragraphs that are focuses on ONE topic related to the subject. -Conclusion Paragraph	Above and Beyond The organization serves to enhance meaning and paragraphs flow naturally into one another.
Body Paragraph- Con	Poor The body paragraph did not meet the requirements.	Fair The paragraph mostly focuses on facts against the writer's opinion, but some may be ineffective or focuses on the wrong side.	Good The first body paragraph focuses on one topic, and argues against the writer's opinion.
