Roller coaster Unit Challenge 1: Amusement Parks Student teams will create a presentation which will include a demonstration of a working roller coaster. The presentation must give the name of the roller coaster; justify the design used in each part of the coaster; identify and explain chosen terms; and provide the average speed and work done by the marble. Diagram	Poor Four elements of an excellent score are missing.	Fair Three elements of an excellent score are missing.	Good Diagram includes all of the required elements of an excellent score. However, up to two elements are missing.	Excellent Includes all terms provided, correctly placed, with a short explanation for each, a data table with time and distance from three trials.
Roller Coaster	Poor Using only approved materials, students are not able to keep marble on track during trial.	Fair Using only approved materials, students are able to have the marble stay on track during one trial.	Good Using only approved materials, students are able to have two consecutive trials in which the marble stays on track.	Excellent Using only approved materials, students are able to have three consecutive trials in which the marble stays on the track.
