The Color Purple Character Poster
Students choose one of five characters from TCP. They complete a poster detailing physical description, personality, hopes, strengths and weaknesses, relationships and changes. While focusing on their unique qualities, students are also required to give examples of those qualities from the text. In addition, students are to include a quotation either said by their character or about their character. And, finally, students were to present all of these ideas on a poster board or foam board .
