EDUC 422 - Digital Citizenship Newsletter EDUC 364 - Digital Citizenship Newsletter This was a combined effort for Gena Heins and Allison Peck. They have created a Newsletter with a target audience of 5th graders. They are hoping that the material in the Newsletter have provided the readers with a new way to tackle the issue of fair use and copyright laws. In doing so, they have also completed the requirments of posting the Newsletter on Google Docs. Technical Issues Lay-out of Newsletter follows the rules of assignment: Header, Footer, Two Columns, Justified Margins and it is consistent through-out the design.	Poor No lay-out attempt made	Fair Parts of the lay-out are intact, but two of the requirements have not been met.	Great Job All of the technical aspects have been met - header, footer, margins, columns - and they are conistent throughout the design.
Article Content Articles written to cover basic rules of copyright laws - all at the appropriate level for 5th grade.	Poor Articles do not cover the topic of copyright laws.	Fair Only half (two) of the articles are relevant to the issue of fair use and copyright laws.	Great Job All four articles are written to cover the issue of fair use and copyright laws.
Use of Graphics Graphics are relevant, including at least one piece of original artwork and it has photos of the authors.	Poor No graphics are included.	Fair Graphics have little or no relevance to the use of copyright laws or does not include pictures of the authors.	Great Job There is an original piece of artwork in the header, there are pictures of the authors and one other piece of relevant artwork included.
Target Audience Is there clearly a target audience and are the articles, graphics and other information geared towards that audience.	Poor No clear target audience given.
