Alphabet Project

My Kindergarten students will each pick a card that has a letter of the alphabet on it. The letter they select will be the letter they are to complete their project on. Each students will be responsible for coloring the letter, finding three picture and three object that begin with that letter. They will also be responsible for know the sound that the makes.

Letter Name Student can identify the captial and the lower case letter that the project was completed on.	Poor Students is unable to identify the both the capital and the lower case letter.	Fair Student is able to identify either the capital letter or the lower letter	Good Student is able to identify both the capital and the lower case letter.
Write the Letter Students can write the capital letter and the lower case letter.	Poor Student is unable to write both the capital letter or the lower case letter.	Fair Student is able to write either the capital or the lower case letter.	Good Student is able to write both the capital letter and the lower case letter.
Pictures Students is able to find and share 3 picture that begin with their letter.	Poor Student did not bring in pictures that begin with their letter of study.	Fair Student did bring in 2 picture that begin with the letter of study.	Good Student did bring in 3 pictures that begin with the letter of study.
