Group Performance (Dance,Rap) 
Students will choose groups in order to sing a rap song (The eight parts of speech poem) and dance routine. Students have one group leader. Each group has complete creative control. Students will perform in the classroom. All groups will recieve 2 weeks to complete this project and will present the day of the oral exam.

Movements are almost always in time with the beat of the music. Demonstrates good choreographic skills. Shows interesting formations and patterns and flows with the music.

Movements are sometimes in time with the beat of the music. Demonstrates some sense of choreography, but dance doesn't quite grow and fails to compliment music and theme.
Poor

Movements are rarely in time with the beat of the music. Shows little sense of creativity and choreographic ability. Movement is stagnant and doesn't build.
Vocal Preparation & Practice

Excellent

All group members remember all of the words to the song and can perform them with the movements. Exhibit evidence of practicing.
Good

Most group members remember the words to the song and can almost always perform them with the movements. Most members exhibit evidence of practicing.
Fair

Group members can remember some of the words and can sometimes remember some of what they practiced.
Poor

Group members have trouble remembering all of the words to the song or have trouble performing them with the movements. Show no evidence of practicing.
Movement Preparation & Practice

Excellent

All group members remember all of the movements to the song and exhibit evidence of practing.
