	Refuses or is Unable 0 pts	Beginning 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Accomplished 3 pts	Advanced 4 pts
Sorts logically by matching socks	Refuses or is Unable Child either -refuses to try, or -groups socks without matching them.	Beginning Child starts to group by finding a match BUT either: -does not complete sorting, or -does not successfully finish grouping objects according to their sock match.	Developing Child sorts -MOST socks into other visually logical match.	Accomplished Child sorts: - ALL socks correctly into a match.	Advanced Child sorts ALL objects correctly by an attribute other than the exact match such as color or shape.
