Production	Poor Filming was done with little or no planning. Storyboards were not followed. Students did not look at footage during production or looked at footage and made no changes when scenes were not well shot.	Fair Filming was done with adherence to the treatment and storyboards. Changes made enhanced the program. Students re-shot scenes that were technically or artistically inferior.	Good Filming was done with adherence to the treatment and storyboards. Changes made enhanced the program. Students re-shot scenes that were technically or artistically inferior. Teacher suggestions and/or corrections were followed.
Music/Dialogue	Poor Sound quality was poor, inappropriate and/or confusing. Movie contained background noise.	Fair Most sound and dialogue were necessary and effective. No background noise evident. Camera work was excellent.
Flow	Poor Movie did not show evidence of theme, had little editing and did not engage the audience.	Fair Movie contained necessary components to tell a story and clips were connected with thought to advance the theme.	Good Movie had easily identified theme, had all required elements and showed creativity and originality. Clips flowed in an engaging, thoughtful way and grabbed the audience's attention. The artistic and technical levels combined to make an exceptional program.
