Item	Poor Student brings in a food dish but does not bring in a food dish from the country researched OR brings prepackaged or store bought food.	Fair Brings in a food dish from another country and briefly discusses what it is. Student may be unfamiliar with ingredients OR preparation of the dish.	Excellent Brings in a food dish from the assigned country and clearly discusses what it is. Student is familiar with the ingredients and preparation of the dish.
Information	Poor Student has one of the following required information: Country of Origin Required ingredients Nutritional information.	Fair Student has two of the following required information: Country of Origin Required ingredients Nutritional information.	Excellent Student has all of the following required information: Country of Origin Required ingredients Nutritional information.
Presentation	Poor Shares with the class information on the food and country but is missing a visual aide such as trifold or flyer.	Fair Shares some information pieces information with the class on the food and country. The student has a flyer or note card with at least two of the following: Pictures of preparation process Recipe with instructions Approximate cost and time of preparation	Excellent Clearly shares with the class what they learned about the country and food.
