Introduction	Excellent My introduction paragraph contained my main character with a name and a setting with description.	Good My introduction paragraph contained my main character and a setting, but I did not give my character a name. My character and my setting were described.	Fair My introduction paragraph contained only a main character and a setting with no description.	Needs Work My introduction paragraph had only a main character or a setting, not both.
Using describing words	Excellent I used all for types of describing words to describe my character in full sentences.	Good I used only three types of describing words to describe my character and my work made sense.	Fair I tried to use two types of describing words, but my sentences were difficult to follow.	Needs Work I only used one type of describing words in my work.
Punctuation	Excellent All of my paragraphs were indented and I used capitalization and punctuation correctly.
