Meaning and Originality	Exceeding Expectations Poem is creative and original. It is evident that the poet put thought into their words and uniquely conveyed their ideas and emotions.	Meeting Expectations Poem is thoughtful and creative. A couple of ideas or details are not clear, but the overall product is carefully written.	Developing Most of the poem is creative, but appears to be rushed.	Limited Poem appears to lack effort or creativity and seems rushed.
Sensory Details/Figurative Language	Exceeding Expectations Vivid details and images convey intended emotions. Figurative language is used effectively throughout.
