ángel o diablo 
This rubric is designed for a Spanish 4 presentation in which they will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of daily routine, informal commands (affirmative and negative), and grammar points covered all quarter. Students will be graded both as a group and individually. Multiply your total score by 2 for final grade.

Student had 8 or more grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with little effort for correction. Students used less than 5 vocabulary words were used.
Fair

Student had 6-7 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with little or some effort for correction. Students used betwen 6 to 10 vocabulary words.
Good

Student had 4- 5 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with some effort for correction. Students used between 11 to 15 vocabulary words.
Excellent

Students had less than 3 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with great effort for correction. Students used 16 or more vocabulary words.
Fluency

Poor

Student presented a below average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student stumbled over words and missed or confused lines multiple times. Student had to use note-cards for lines.
Fair

Student presented an average demonstration of Spanish fluency but stumbled over words and missed or confused lines more than 3 times. Student had to use note-cards for lines often.
Good

Student presented an average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student spoke correctly but did no show emotion or inflection of words. Student had to use note cards for lines often.
Excellent

Student presented an above average performance. Student had few to no issues with fluency. Spoke clearly with correct inflection.
Effort and Attitude

Poor

The student put little to no effort into the skit and the group grade suffered because of attitude.
Fair

The student could have done more to contribute and/or was not showing enthusiasm in front of the class.
Good

The student could have done more to contribute and/or, however was showing enthusiasm in front of the class.
Excellent

The student was excited and ready to present with a smile! The group benefited from this member!
Participation

Poor

Did not work well within his/her group, and did not bring ideas to their group.
Fair

Not all group members participated according to the task.
Good

Most of the group members fully participated, but one student did not contribute completely.
Excellent

All group members fully participated and contributed ideas to the group-all were responsible for some aspect of dialogue
