Purpose: 20 pts Your song has a clear purpose to it, it fits with it's topic or title.	Falls Far Below Purpose is unclear, song doesn't seem to have any focus or topic.	Approaches Song MIGHT fit it's title or topic if you really thought about it, however is still unclear.	Meets Song has a clear purpose.	Exceeds The song has a clear purpose and is exciting to listen to.
Lyrics 20 pts A set of words, phrases or sounds that make up a song	Falls Far Below Lyrics clash with the melody and have little meaning to the writer.	Approaches Lyrics are starting to flow with the melody.	Meets Lyrics are meaningful and connect to the music.	Exceeds The lyrics are meaningful to the artists, flow with the melody and connect to the overall song.
