This rubric is aimed at evaluating the PERFORMANCE of a lab experiment, rather than the REPORT. (I do not require a formal report for most labs - but would use a separate rubric for scoring one if I did)

Fair Organizers are hastily done, student did not follow directions, and are between 70% and 80% complete.	Good Organizers are 80% to 90% complete and neat, but minor details are missing.	Excellent Organizers are 100% complete and legible.
Performance	not done Absent/unexcused when lab is done	Poor Student attempts to do lab without reading or following directions, disregards safety, does not clean up.	Fair Student needs constant assistance, may need constant reminders of safety, may leave materials out.	Good Student follows written or oral directions, may make minor safety infractions.
