Civil War Diorama Project Civil War Diorama Project We have learned about several different battles in this Unit. You may choose a partner or work alone to research one of the battles and create a diorama of one of the battles mentioned in this Unit. I will display the completed dioramas in the classroom. Facts and Sources	Poor Student displays no facts, or mostly incorrect facts. Student did not use any outside sources.	Fair Student displays facts, mostly correct. Student uses one source only.	Good Student displays a variety of mostly correct facts. Student uses only two sources.	Excellent Students displays a variety of correct facts. Student uses three or more sources.
Research and Understanding	Poor Student did inadequate research. Student does not understand their own project.	Fair Student did some research but most information is not in their words. Student shows little understanding of their project.	Good Student did a lot of research and it is presented in their own words. Student shows a clear understanding of their project.	Excellent Student did significant research and it is entirely in their own words. Student demonstrates a deep understanding of their project.
Visuals	Poor Lack of effort is evident, not visually appealing. Product is not relevant to project.	Fair Student put some effort visuals, they are slightly appealing. The product is slightly relevant to the project.	Good Effort is evident in a visually appealing product that does not detract from the project.	Excellent The student went above and beyond to create a very visually appealing product that enhances the project.
Creativity	Poor Project had no original thought.	Fair Project showed little creativity.	Good Project was fairly creative.	Excellent Project was extremely creative and it was clear that student put a large amount of thought into it.
