Preparation	Needs guidance The students arrived late to class. Needed reminders to get started on project. The assignment was not completed in a timely manner.	Needs some guidance The student arrived on time, with a project plan ready. The student usually completed the assignment but the quality was not consistent.	Independent The student arrived on time for all classroom sessions. The student arrived with an assignment completed meeting the highest standard.
Planning	Needs guidance The student had difficulty planning their project and then following through on that plan. The student continued to have difficulty with the concept of time and usually missed their own deadlines.	Needs some guidance The student needed some reminders to work productively but planned their project, and usually completed the tasks. Met most deadlines in a timely manner.	Independent The student planned their project and successfully identified the parts. The student was assigned times lines to complete the parts accurately. The student met all assigned tasks on time.
