Personal Mood Board

A mood board is a tool used by designers to help them get a good idea of what their clients are looking for. Mood boards are basically collages of items such as photographs, sketches, clippings, fabric swatches and color samples. A mood board can be actual or virtual.

Labeling of pictures is in a stylized handwriting that compliments the overall look of the board. *Students may have incorporated materials other than magazine clippings.	FUTURE DESIGNER Student's poster showed some creative and cohesive arrangement of pictures but could have improved. Labeling of pictures may have been creative but could have improved.	DESIGNER IN TRAINING Student put little thought into the placement of pictures Little thought went into the style of writing used in the labeling of pictures.
