Pitch accuracy on Melodic SR	ABOVE AVERAGE You sang the sight-reading example with perfect pitch accuracy. Bravo!	AVERAGE There were only one or two pitch mistakes, but overall, you sang the excerpt well.	BELOW AVERAGE There were many pitch problems in your sight-reading. Greater focus and attention are necessary in order for your grade to improve.
Rhythmic accuracy on Melodic SR	ABOVE AVERAGE Your rhythm on the sight-reading melody was performed accurately. You have an expert awareness of this skill.	AVERAGE There were only one or two rhythmic inaccuracies, but overall, you performed the excerpt at an acceptable level.	BELOW AVERAGE There were several rhythmic inaccuracies. Please see Miss Burkey for extra help outside of class.
Projection	ABOVE AVERAGE You sang with purpose and confidence! I had no problem hearing your voice.	AVERAGE You sang well, but you need to work on projecting your voice and singing with confidence. Sing out a little more!	BELOW AVERAGE Your voice was very quiet and hard to hear. If I can't hear you, it makes it very difficult to give you a grade.
Tone/Vowels/Breath Support	ABOVE AVERAGE You sang with a beautiful tone that was pleasing and properly supported with the breath.	AVERAGE Although you did a good job overall, sometimes your tone quality, vowels, or breath support are not matching the appropriate and recommended tone as instructed by Miss Burkey.	BELOW AVERAGE The majority of the sight-reading example was sung with poor breath support and/or vowels and tone quality.
Intonation	ABOVE AVERAGE Your intonation was perfectly in tune.	AVERAGE You are fell flat/sang sharp in a few places.	BELOW AVERAGE There were many times when your intonation was either flat/sharp.
